| BUSINESS LOAN PROGRAMS
Goals:
- To further the economic development of Northeast Nebraska
- To promote and assist the growth and development of business
and industrial concerns within Northeast Nebraska
- To stimulate business opportunity and development in Northeast
Nebraska as measured by increased employment, increased local
tax bases, increased economic diversity, and decreased net out-migration
Objectives:
- Participate to the extent possible in providing long-term capital
for expansion of businesses or industries which would otherwise
be denied such access to capital
- Leverage private and public funds for private business development
- Develop permanent jobs in private business for the unemployed
and the under-employed in the area
- Encourage the banking industry to make capital available for
business growth by reducing much of the risk associated with loans
- Utilize other federal, state and local programs in loan packages,
if feasible
- Work with local development organizations in project development
efforts
